WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ETTEND AND ZOOM?
While both ēttend™ and Zoom enable remote communication, they represent different facets of digital connectivity.
Zoom is primarily a video conferencing tool used for virtual meetings, webinars, and collaborative projects. It allows for real-time communication through audio and video, and it includes features such as screen sharing, breakout rooms, and recording functionality.
ēttend™, is a telepresence solution that goes a step further. Rather than merely providing a platform for audiovisual communication, ēttend™ aims for a more immersive, sensory experience. Its core long term mission of enabling the senses from a distance and allowing humans to convey emotion and connection electronically will require advanced technologies, to create a more interactive and immersive experience.
In essence, while Zoom enables remote communication, ēttend™ seeks to replicate the experience of being physically present, providing a more comprehensive sensory experience and potentially allowing for a deeper level of emotional connection.
WILL THIS REPLACE ATTENDANCE?
We believe nothing will replace being physically present : ēttending is a tool to give people the ability to experience it if they aren't / weren't able to.
